As the Sales Excellence Executive at SYSPRO, Jakes is responsible for providing leadership, direction, support, and provisioning of the demo server environment to the sales department.
Jakes is a results-driven leader with extensive product knowledge. With a customer-centric approach Jakes and the sales team constantly extrapolate business insights to accelerate segment priorities, optimize operational processes, increase seller productivity and capability. He is continuously coaching to drive impact growth and revenue.
Jakes is highly skilled at pursuing new sales prospects, maintaining customer satisfaction and relationship building. He has wide-ranging industry experience and started his career in accounting before joining SYSPRO 27 years ago. During his time at SYSPRO Jakes has moved across various parts of the organization which includes Implementations, Solutions Architect, Presales, Regional Product Manager and Solutions Director for the APAC region.
Jakes holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science Degree from Unisa. His passion is formulating solutions for customers to improve their business processes, resulting in success.
